Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes; nobody at the church can see them.
• Profile details — an optional display name, phone number, and profile photo, if you add them.
• Church membership — which church workspace you belong to, your role (member, ministry lead, admin), and your ministry team, if assigned.
• Messages and requests — messages you send in team channels, alerts you send, and any join or access request you submit, including the note you write with it.
• Notification token — a device token, your device name, and platform (iOS or Android), so alerts can be delivered to your phone.
• Prayer and talk room participation — a record of when you joined and left a room, and whether you spoke. The audio itself is never recorded or stored.

What we do not collect

• No audio recordings. Prayer rooms and team talk rooms are live only. Nothing is captured or saved.
• No location data.
• No advertising or tracking. There are no ad networks, no analytics SDKs, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking of any kind.
• We never sell or rent your information.

Permissions the app asks for

• Microphone — only while you are in a prayer room or team talk room, so others can hear you when you hold to talk. It is not used at any other time.
• Notifications — so urgent ministry alerts and service updates can reach you. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.

Services we rely on

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the app. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

• Supabase — hosts our database, accounts, and secure server functions.
• LiveKit — carries live audio for prayer and team rooms. Audio passes through in real time and is not stored.
• Expo — delivers push notifications to your device.
• YouTube (Google) — sermons and livestreams play through an embedded YouTube player. Your viewing is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Forms — the Connect Card is a Google Form. Anything you submit there goes directly to Google and to our church staff, and is governed by Google's policy above.

Who can see your information

• Messages in a team channel are visible to the members of that channel.
• Your name, role, and ministry team are visible to leaders and admins of your church workspace.
• Join requests, including your note, are visible to the leaders who review them.
• Church workspaces are kept separate — members of one church cannot see another church's channels, members, or prayer rooms.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account at any time from inside the app: open the You tab, scroll to Delete account, and confirm.

This removes your account, profile, church membership, channel memberships, messages, prayer and join requests, and notification tokens. It cannot be undone. If you are the only owner of a church workspace, you will be asked to make someone else an owner first so the workspace is not left without an administrator.

Keeping your information safe

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is enforced at the database level, so members only reach the church workspaces and channels they belong to. Sign-in credentials are stored in your device's secure keychain, not in plain text. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously.

Children

This app is intended for our congregation and ministry volunteers, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
